Hi everyone, I'm Luna. I was diagnosed with Asperger's five years ago. I've never used any sort of social networking site, so this is new for me. It seems pretty nice though. I mean, talking to people without eye contact or all that small talk nonsense? This is perfect!
Anyway, the site says that this is where we're supposed to go to introduce ourselves, so here goes. I'm a college student. I joined this site because I've started to become even more isolated than I used to be. Since moving to college, I can go days without talking to anyone. Not necessarily because I don't want to, but more because I try to pass for neurotypical by not talking. I know it's wrong, I just don't like how people treat me when they know I'm autistic. Here, I don't have to worry about passing.
I like math, science, and the color green. I have two favorite books, which are, oddly enough, entitled "The Speed of Dark" and "The Speed of Darkness". They are nothing alike, and they both have very little to do with darkness and its velocity. I think that's about it for my introduction, or, at least, that's all I'm willing to put online. This site is supposed to be anonymous.
