I was wondering if anyone else has a special snack or food for when your having a bad day? For example i like fizzy and bubbly drinks so i keep apple cider on hand for when i need something calming and happy.

Whenever I feel upset, fed up, or wound up about something, I tend to lose my appetite and not want to eat anything until I've completely calmed down.
But what really helps to settle my mind is a nice, hot cup of tea, especially Earl Grey or green tea.

Yes, I would rather not name the specifics (paranoid that people will find me) but my mum gets me a lime-flavoured water and a kind of chewy candy when I am stressed, and always before an exams.

(I love your avatar BTW!)

Utterly flavourless carbohydrates, such as plain rice cakes, bread crusts, dry cornflakes and unsweetened oatmeal.

I like a special kind of cheese snacks from Trader Joe's. They're very crunchy and tasty.

I like hot drinks but it doesn't really matter whether it's coffee or tea. Too much coffee isn't good, though.

When I was a child, I lived in the Bahamas. One of the families there was British. I went to their house one day and was invited to have 'proper tea'.

Been hooked on tea, milk and a bit of sugar ever since. So, yeah, hot drinks for me too.
