My FAVORITE pun, however, is one I discovered and made myself after learning about the origins of the names of the earth's poles. I must warn you though, you will probably hate me and you don't know me.

So "Arctos" is the Greek word for bear. The Arctic Circle is the circle with (polar) bears and the Antarctic Circle is the circle without bears. SO YOU COULD SAY: that the North Pole is barren :D ... and the South Pole has unbearable conditions! :lol:

Why do they call mean people "catty" when they are, in fact, behaving "people-y?!"
