My husband and best friend for the past 29 years has colon cancer. He's been on chemotherapy for more than a year and I'm doing my level best to take care of him despite my panic attacks, meltdowns and shut-downs.

Are the treatments working well?

I'm glad you've been so supportive of your husband, despite your autism. This will help him heal.

They are but it's slow-going. He has Stage Four which has gone into his liver, but the tumors have shrunk enough that his liver works properly now. It's a slow-growing cancer so it's a slow healing process as well. The doctor is hopeful that he will be cured.
