Hey. Apparently signed up years ago, but still "new" here!

I knew I had signed up for this site quite some time ago, but I didn't think it was nearly four years ago! So since I apparently made only one post that I don't remember back then, I guess I can say I'm still "new" here!

Anyways, my name is Haley and I am a 23 year old woman from Canada. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in Grade 9. I'd say my life is pretty fine right now, at least compared to a lot of people I know of. However, my parents are concerned about my lack of a social life, so I'll try to get a least a little more involved when I start my second semester of college. Until then, I thought I might try some online socializing, since that's a little (or a lot) easier for me. Ever since moving from my hometown, my real-life friends and I have been drifting apart, and major changes in their lives (engagements, babies, etc.) have made it so that there's nothing we have in common anymore except for childhood memories. A part of me is fine not really having many friends, since I'm happy just talking with my parents, but my parents are obviously not going to be around forever, so... even if I'm not particularly lonely now, I might be in the future.

So some things about me:
- I am taking First Nations Studies in college now, and am half-Ojibway, so if anyone wants to know anything about that, I can try to answer questions as best I can
- Disney movies are practically my life! There are very few Disney films that I hate, just some I like more than others. Talking about Disney is a great way to get me talking!
- I also like writing as a hobby. Currently my writing is inspired by various fairy tales.
