I was wondering how people study such as in school and memorize things. Maybe this might help me and others in regard to studying and remembering things. Forgot, also how to learn too.

Repeating a fact in my head while whispering the thoughts so I can hear them helps me. It needs to be done about 3-5 times in a row quickly for it to stick. It helps when I'm forced to study something boring. For some reason even if I'm reading the words, I'll be thinking of something else and not absorb what I'm reading, so I have to go back and say what I am reading repetitively to distract myself from my thoughts. Its really hard for me to memorize something I don't find interesting. I hated taking anatomy lab because all it was, was memorizing the names and spellings of hundreds of body parts. I failed anatomy the first time because if you don't pass the lab portion, then you fail the whole class, even if you scored high in lecture. The lecture portion of the class (physiology) was more interesting because it focused on how things worked.
