Intersting. I am also quite sensitive. I do not like the feel of velvet. It feels terrible.

I dislike wool intensely but enjoy the physical sensation of many other materials. I usually dress in "relaxed fit" jeans and a T-shirt but sometimes prefer tight jeans, jogging sweats or nylon warm-up suits.

I prefer to dress in layers because I seem to have a terrible time regulating body temperature.

My favorite outfit: dark blue unprinted t-shirt, khaki shorts, short white socks and white sneakers (the latter only for outdoor use). Last year, when I was not working, I was wearing these clothes every day, except in winter. For work I wear short-sleeve collared shirts and khaki pants or black jeans.

Regarding my favorite blue t-shirts, they are tagless and have size and material information printed on their inner side. I have 11 of them (result of 3 trips to the store, each time buying whole M size inventory of this particular shirt). Unfortunately my other t-shirts have tags, which I cannot remove, because I would then lose my only point of reference for my routine of finding front of a shirt.

I always wear jeans (mostly black, occasionally blue) and a T-shirt when I'm not working.

I wear this in summer or winter ~ It has to be really cold before I wear a jacket.

Also I hate having my forearms covered so always wear either short sleeves or (in my work shirt) have my sleeves rolled up.

I also don't like wearing a watch although I do occasionally (mostly at work)

Last time I wore wool it gave me a rash. Then again, I was taking medication that made my skin sensitive. I still don't like it, it feels weird. I normally wear jean shorts and a t-shirt. I don't like the color of khakis, if the were like jeans I'd wear them.

Isn't it pretty normal not to like wearing uncomfortable clothing?`

Most women at some point wear high heels and tight jeans, not because they like how it feels, but cause it is suppposed to make them look better.. At least that is the reason I wear jeans, allthough it isn' my fave thing.

The only really uncomfortable thing for me is wearing two layers of clothes. It is the worst thing exept high heels wich I have worn once when I was 14.

But I need to wear 5 layers of clothing quite often due to the faboulous weather.

Post subject: Clothes Preferences
--------------------------------------
I'm sensitive to the feeling of clothes. What I
like wearing is loose-fitting shorts, T-shirts
and thin, cotton socks. I never wear anything
made of wool because it makes me itch! I also
prefer to not wear multiple layers of clothing
such as jackets or sweatshirts because I have
a naturally high temperature and even in a
cold atmosphere I can get too hot.

Nothing but T-shirts and jeans or khakis. My legs aren't so sensitive about the material of the pants as long as they are adequately baggy, but I am VERY picky about the fit of my T-shirts: the neck can't be too tight, nor too loose; the sleeves can't be too tight, they can't be too long, they can't be too short; the waist can't be too tight, however I hate incredibly baggy shirts. And of course, I always wear my comfy Old Navy cut-off fleece jacket.

I am a fan of squishy plain white cottony socks (though they can have some color to them-- though must be overall white) and also of my Birkenstocks. I wear my Birks even in winter (as long as the snow isn't too high since I would inevitably loose them in it at every step).

And of course I ALWAYS have to wear my watch when I go out.

My favorite outfit:

jeans, cotton t-shirt and flip-flops. That is my absolute favorite. If it is cool out, I wear a long-sleeved t-shirt with a fleece vest, but still the flip flops. In the winter I wear jeans, high-tech socks, Docs and, long-sleeved t-shirt and a Northface fleece jacket.

Since I am a stay-at-home Mom, I wear flip-flops all the time and when I have to put my feet in more structured shoes, my feet are very uncomfortable. If I can't wear flip-flops, I wear indoor soccer shoes.

Being a teenager in the seventies, I used to wear 'painted on' jeans and lotsa tight stuff, whatever everybody else wore. These days, it's a pair of baggy pants - usually a cotton/lycra blend, a cotton t-shirt (long or short sleeved) and a cardigan or something similar. I'm big on cardigans so I have lots of wool. A beanie in winter!

My favourite type of clothing is actually a dressing gown, unfortunately you can't go around wearing them. I must've been an oriental or some type in a previous life, lol. Their (trad) clothing always seems like a stylish dressing gown to me, you know kimonos and that sort of thing.

I'm kind of a brand-name shopper. I go with Ecko, Phatfarm, Rocawear, Nautica, and South Pole for the shirts; for pants I still go with some big khaki's, usually zip-offs; and for shoes usually Vans or Sketchers. I really don't have that much in the way of comfort issues so my biggest priority is trying to find stuff that I think I look good in.

I usually wear kahki, or similar pants. Since I can wear them in all situations, school/ with friends/work/church... they are universal. All though they can sometimes be a bit under-dressed for some situations, I don't really care that much. And I have only been informed of such things, after the fact. Oh well.

I like Hawaiian shirts, I wear them all the time. In fact, 90% of my shirts are of this type. They are usually loose, a plus for me. And light, another plus. And the patterns, are usually silly, interesting and colorful, another plus. I started to wear them at work, I asked my boss and he didn't have a problem... so now I wear them all the time at work.

As for shoes, I used to by steel toe work boots, but I think those are causing more harm than good. And now I am going to try to find shoes that are more comfortable than anything else... I don't think I have ever had a really good pair of shoes. Perhaps an investment in flip-flops is in order. My aversion to socks, would appreciate it.
