Of course, several times. I enjoy flying.

Yes, quite a few teams, and at least twice each year for a while now. :D

My dad began flying when I was young and our family did a lot of flying in whatever plane he had at whatever time, and I have also been on various commercial flights over the years. I enjoy the time in the air and its scenery, but every safe landing is still a successfully-controlled crash when the air speed becomes too low and the craft stops flying.

Never have been in a small private plane, but have ridden in many commercial jet liners (and in one or two large propeller airliners ) since my childhood in the Sixties. 707's, atleast one 747, several modern airbus planes, and remember riding in what was probably a constellation (prop) as a child.

Yes, I've been on an aeroplane several times, including the Royal Flying Doctor Service (which I was unconscious for).

I've never been on a plane of any kind, or a boat. Only cars, trains and buses.

I've been told your first flight should be a short one if you can help it. Like an hour.

I started out wishing I was the one with a flying dad, but that definition of landing at the end there, just made me less eager to fly!

Understood, and the reality moment of that "final drop" to make contact with the ground while keeping the craft pointed in the right direction in a cross-wind is why some paratroopers find it preferable to jump out on their own from a safe altitude! Any pilot will tell you the very first thing they do following take-off is to gain altitude for safety. Being close to the ground is the worst place for anything that flies.

Only been on an airplane twice, and it was a very short flight from Stansted to Cork, S. Ireland on holiday. I enjoyed seeing the tops of clouds outside the plane, enjoyed less the massive earache, presumably from pressure changes, as the plane gained height. Thankfully it didn't happen on the return journey.

Yes, multiple times… I prefer being in the air, then on the ground.
