Telling a girl you have Aspergers

I can't find the thread about this issue. Aspies are different. So are people with personality disorders, addictions, mental illnesses, bad childhoods. I'm not minimizing what someone with Aspergers goes through and their difference from NTs. What I am saying is that a quality person shines through whatever their "disability" may be. Perhaps, my heart speaks rather than my head. It is how I believe things should be. :heart: You like the person through and through, issues and all. That's it. If you care about someone, you give them a chance. That's how I operate.

There is a difference between a Disability versus a Disorder.
There is a difference between an Illness and a Disorder.
There is a difference between a Conformist and a Non-Conformist.
There is a difference between Main-Stream and Alternative.
There is a difference between Conventional and Holistic.

There is a difference between a Cookie-Cutter Standard versus a Unique Difference.
Remember, you are all Unique, just like everyone else... ;o

Reality is most would be scared off. People especially my generation and the one after have no patience for anything not normal and easy. Not to mention one google search would show them tons of dont date an aspie man threads and sites.

But it doesn't matter as they'd have to get to know me first which no woman will do due to my as making me undateable.

There's been a few threads on it with the general consensus not to ever tell the girl you like or if lucky date.

If I ever got a gf is not expect it to last more then a month or two so why end it sooner by telling them I'm defective?
