I don't handle having a bad day very well.

I'm otherwise polite, professional and nice until I get frustrated or unless I have a bad day. Recently I had a bad night at work where everything went wrong. One thing after another. And not just little things but big things too. It was a job that I was otherwise good at and a good fit. I just had a bad day.

Have any of you have had a similar experience?

All the bloody time!

I had one just the other day. It's always the same: Sh1t happens, and you go off, then everything calms down, except now everyone's giving you a wide berth. I'm starting to see the pattern and thinking maybe that's the trick to preventing it next time.

But next time will be different; new surprises in store.

I'll stuff up again. Make an idiot of myself. Piss off more people.

It doesn't change.

I really don't. When I have a day like the one you described, I go home regardless of the consequences. And I'm usually not there the next day either.

I'm like jekyll and Ms. hyde. I consider myself nice and sweet, but sometimes I feel like a rage monster.
