Son doesn't have enough time at school

My son Zeke is 10 and he has always been at school full days.
Until this year we moved and he got transferred to a school
who has a special Autism dept. Unfortunately the teachers in
it go home at 1pm. So he is at school from 9-1pm and in that
small time is recess, lunch, recess again. He only really has
3 hours of class time.
What can I do to get him back into full time?

1. Hire an IEP advocate. You will need one of these because school administrators are not your friend.
2. Ask for an IEP meeting. They have to give you one.
3. Bring said advocate with you to the IEP meeting.
4. Demand your son be given a full time education program that also accommodates his needs. If they refuse, file a formal civil rights complaint and hire a lawyer.
