Why all the threads about SJWS?

The fact their are so many treads dedicated to smashing SJWS is kind of baffling me. Sure they aren't great but why are they posted all the around the place in such a large amount? I don't get it. Why is it the case? Do we as autistic people want to feel good by bashing those we can ridicule?

Most topics here are gossipy, not scholarly.

Many topics follow this format ... "Let's talk about Person or Group X that is doing Y"

SJWs create provocative gossip, so they get a lot of attention.

Obsession. People can't get their minds off of whatever boogieman they've chosen, whether it's SJWs, the alt-right, etc.

I can not speak for anyone else but their bullying for conformity I think is a dangerous thing for those of us Autistics who value "Daring to to be Different".

Many conservatives find them upsetting.

i think humans in general feel good ridiculing ideas that are easy to ridicule. autistic people are humans too.

The obsession with SJW's is strange considering that the alt-right is far worse.

Social Conservatives and SJWs are similar, they both advocate for social control and are fundamentally illiberal. Which is why people have a problem with them. This is whether or not they understand how their policies violate basic right or not.

It wasn't social conservatives that first highlighted this problem in universities.

That is debatable. Especially when it comes to basic freedoms.

The Atl-right's rise has quite a lot to do with SJWs inability to engage in a rational debate. You get the opposition you hope for.

SWJs saw those that questioned not only their ideology, but the taboos they created to prevent questioning of their ideology as all fascists when in reality many of them were trying to explain to the SJWs why their values were illiberal and themsleves came from all walks across the political spectrum.

Ethno-nationalists/fascists on that other hand, make no pretense about being liberal. However SWJs aren't adverse to supporting ethno-nationalists themselves. Some of their writings, if you didn't know better you would have though came from Stormfront. The only difference is the ethnicity.

Then there is hypocracy of complaining of things like microaggression, and then going on to physically attacking people at demonstrations.

All the "praise kek/kekistan" is more a lampooning of SJWs obsession with identity trying to put people into boxes and the fact they don't recognize it as satire is part of why people find it funny. It is in the same category to those that want Jedi to be reconsidered as a religion, via census.

tl;dr: extremists breed extremist, becuase that is the opposition the believe everyone else to be.

The definition of "SJW" seems to be much broader than what defines the alt-right. I've seen it used to label people from those that are willing to attack others over cultural appropriation to those that simply express left wing sentiments. Some of the militant counterparts to the alt-right aren't necessarily SJW's either but are also off in the deep end as hate groups.

Either way, "SJW" seems to contain connotations of extremism, hypocrisy, militancy, weirdness, etc. while "alt-right" contains connotations of white supremacy and alienation from mainstream conservatism.

Social justice is something defined in academia, so it is fairly easy to identify its adherents. Primarily we are talking about intersectionalists as that is the movement that has caused the most issues.

If we are talkign about the early protest in universities. Then the violence was mostly conducted by those who adhered to this ideology as the alt-right were not at these protest and didn't appear for some time after, and mainly due to SJWs causing disruption at universities and setting conditions which were unattainable or unreasonable.

The reason why anarcho-marxist antifa are associated with intersectionalists is becuase there is an ideological connection to marxism from the founder of intersectionalist and the sympathies are mutual and both have a tendency to label any opposition fascist, similarly the conditions on the Movement for Black Lives Matters website similarly reflected this ideology.

This is an ideology which would have been opposed by principled civil right leaded like Mandela, Martin Luther King, etc as they believed in people being judged by the content of their character.

Alt-right was a term used by very few, it was people who were already ethno-nationalist using this ans opportunity to re-brand themselves. Don't get me wrong I don't agree with them. These are the opposition that SJWs were branding everyone else as, so it is not really surprising they took this opportunity. Some people used alt-right without knowing it was coined by supremacists and nationalist. This is becuase it is an unspecific term like 'old right'.

The branding of all of these people as 'dangerous' is equally as dangerous. It it the logic of 'punch a nazi', regardless of if they hold any kind of genocidal/violent ideology or even adhere to national socialism. it just shows these people up as at best no better, and at worse elevating etho-nationalism (of all types and ethnicity).

We are creatures of brutal logic.

They annoy us with their BS.

They just scream for attention, to be heard and obeyed and they rarely, if ever, actually think on what they are screaming.

It annoys the hell out of me.

It's an ironic cycle, so-called 'SJWs' stick up for people bullied for 'daring to be different' through what you insist is bullying. Most of the time SJWs are obnoxious but not bullies - and if their obnoxiousness is an issue it should equally be an issue when the social injustice warriors behave obnoxiously.

First we'll have to clearly define the term. I've met lots of people who had total devotion to their social justice cause. It didn't pay well, and they worked almost all the time. You can count on people to volunteer for marching and shouting, and if they feel sufficiently motivated to change their situation, civil disobedience. But you have to train people to do civil disobedience in the classical sense. You have to work out the transportation to the site, and call people to confirm that they will drive and pick up other people. Someone needs to bring water, so people don't pass out on the march because they came unprepared, and on, and on and on to where it takes up most of their lives keeping the volunteers moving in the right direction.

Also, these marches don't just happen by themselves if they aim to accomplish anything. You have to write letters to representatives, have lucid people show up and testify at hearings, and build relationships with people on all sides of the issue so that you can negotiate the solution to the problem, or get the legislation passed, or whatever the social justice goal is.

If you don't think people ought to organize and do those things, then go hide in your hole and hate SJWs. Otherwise, it takes someone a little unhinged to dedicate years of their lives to changing society, and put up with all the inevitable setbacks. Who else would do it?

Some jackass shaking their finger at people on the internet? Many of the people who complain about SJWs do plenty of that.

-HE MUST BE A MISOGYNIST WHO FEELS ENTITLED TO A WOMAN'S BODY!! !
-I KNOW THIS BECAUSE ALL NICE GUYS JUST WANT TO GET LAID AND DON'T WANT TO DO OTHER FUN STUFF LIKE GOING TO MOVIES!
