The God of the bible seems a bit difficult to falsify so I cannot say with absolute certainty that he cannot exist.

ADDENDUM: This doesn't mean might potentially believe that the Earth might have been literally created in six days or something like that. The "I don't know" is in relation to a Jewish or Christian God as is interpreted by more reasonable scholars (in my opinion).

I don't know He doesn't exist, but I don't know He does, either.

I'd like to think I keep an open mind on that score.

How can anyone know for sure?

any "god" that hasn't gotten over the gender issue theirselves, or pits one gender, people, race, etc against each other and raises up one over the other isn't any "god" I would like to hang out with, anyway.

Okay, according to my poll, so far, we know that we have at least 8 honest WP members, and 7 either omniscient or dishonest ones. BTW, the God of the Bible is defined by same book as "unsearchable". I wanted to prove intellectual dishonesty, so that we could see how some people have such a strong emotional bias against there being Yahweh, that they will plainly and openly lie about their own mental abilities.

Others, many of whom voted "No", judging by their comments, do not believe God exists, but are honest in admitting they don't know. This is a very important difference.

I know he doesnt exist. Because, he was invented by man.

I know he doesn't exist in the same way I know that there aren't invisible pink unicorns living under my bed. If he existed, then the universe would cease to make sense.
