He needs to make more of a transition from celebrity to president. It seems like most if not all of these are directed at celebrities.

Is anyone really surprised any more by this man's vulgarity? I fail to recall any past Presidents - liberal or conservative - who behaved so badly. Even Nixon, who had an acid tongue, and the clinical paranoia and vindictive personality to go along with it, still had kept his outbursts of hatred confined to the privacy of the White House.

What surprises me is that people keep on expecting him to become Presidential. My amatuer diagnosis is it must be some variation of Stockholm Syndrome or similar to the abused always expecting the good side of thier abusers to eventually win out. It was unaceptable to vote for a candidate that behaves this way. I accept that the 2016 election was extraordinary in that the opponent was so bad people felt the needed to take the risk and vote for Trump in the hope that the office would change him. That was then this is now. Even if there was no Russia issue or family business question his behavoir alone should be enough that there should be near universal calls for his resignation. His behavoir would get him fired from nearly every job. If an employee used their home account to tweet like this they would be fired, he is using the office account.

Speaking of Nixon what most do not remember is even after the Saturday Nght Massacre the public was still split 50/50 mostly on party lines over impeachment. Many Nixon supporters said the media personally had it in for Nixon and were trying to revert the election and they were far from wrong. Nixon released transcipts of the tapes which had lot of "expletive deleted" to replace curses. That is when his core support really crumbled and as hard as it is to believe today people were shocked that a president would talk that way.

The insult, against masculinity, came from a losing candidate, 5'8" tall, pictured in bubble parties, and, were it not for him, who would have thought about the private parts of a 70 year old. Do any accidentally-straight people, without even trying to be, settle an argument, by talking about the other guy's junk. I have never heard it happen.

I know this is an internet forum, but Joe claims to have texts from people close to the President asking him to please apologize, and the President will make the National Enquirer stop pursuing a story which would embarrass Mika through her ex. Meanwhile, the Enquirer has a van parked outside Mika's house, and is calling her family members. She and her ex had a family meeting with the kids and decided not to give in.

The President of the United States has so little respect from our intelligence agencies that he has to resort to using the National Enquirer to intimidate his enemies. Those enemies haven't even done any investigative reporting, but have correctly perceived his true vulnerability. He turned to his business buddy, the owner of the National Enquirer (completely appropriate), for help. By trying to silence the free (and top-notch snarky) press, he just made the situation worse. Shocking?

I am the OP and I said all parties involved should be sent to Miss Mannors.

While all parties involved have engaged in juvenile, offensive and what should be job ending behaviors only Trump is President of the United States with the responsibilities involved which these behavoirs are distracting from, and only Trump is the most public face of America to the world. Joe and Mika have a somewhat influincial cable news show whose notoriety has been increased by Trumps actions. Their actions are arguably comparable, the potential consquences are not.
