I am a newbie barely on the right side of 40. I was diagnosed as an Aspie as a teenager.

My interests are varied and obsessive -- I can talk a lot about Disney theme parks, Doctor Who (mostly Fourth and Twelfth Doctor eras), Cirque du Soleil, film in general, etc. But I don't know of any support groups for autistic adults in my region, I don't drive, and the nearest groups catering to my interests, or events that excite me, are a few hours away in Chicago. Life in "meatspace" can get pretty lonesome. Will I find people to chat with here? :)

Hello, fellow Whovian! It's great to meet you :D

What is your favorite DW series?

I don't watch Dr. Who much.

But we can most certainly talk :D

Dr. Who is historical, in lots of ways--and I like history.

Welcome, Ms. Whovian. My native language is Star Trek rather than Dr. Who, but I think you'll find a number of like-minded people here, in many different areas. :D

If you're going on a trip to the Wrong Planet, with me you can ride (as long as you don't ask me where I've been... I've been everywhere, man!).

I'm not a fan of Dr. Who, sorry, but I am a fan of The Who. If you don't know who they are, who are you? Who the *bleep* are you?!

(... OK, I get it, these are dated references, but you might be old enough to actually get them...)
