Is it arrogant to make out flat-earthers to be idiots? Creationists and flat-earthers are both entitled to believe in idiocy, but everyone else is entitled to view them as such.

Creationism literally makes no sense.
Animals that do not fit with their environment die before they reach sexual maturity. That leads to small genetic changes over millions of years.
That's like saying "Hey! Did you know that two plus two equals four?"
Another Thing: If God made all of the animals out of nowhere, then why doesn't he do that today? We're supposed to believe the dodo bird was a creation of God. Why doesn't he bring it back? Why did God create tapeworms? Why did God create predators? Why would a loving God create such brutality?
There is no God. We don't live in a just world. There is no karma. Bad things happen to good people and harmless animals. We live in a brutal world. Fairness only exists when we fight for it.

We did not evolve from the present-day apes.....but from ape-like creatures who might or might not be apes today.
Humans are still apes.
The last common ancestor of all great apes was a prehistoric ape and we are still great apes.
We humans have existed for 300,000 years. Until 10,000 BC, we were essentially bipedal apes. We had language and imagination, but we were really just bipedal apes.
People don't like to classify humans as apes because they have an emotional aversion to that idea. People are disgusted by apes because they don't understand apes. Apes are actually noble animals if you give them a chance.
