Here's the quiz:
https://psychcentral.com/quizzes/ocdquiz.htm

On this test,
12 & up: OCD is likely
8 - 11: OCD is probable
0 - 7 OCD is unlikely

I scored an 8, on the very low end of "probable".

As far as I know, I don't have any form of OCD. I'm guessing my being on the spectrum might have skewed the results of the OCD test to make it look a bit more like I have OCD since some of the attributes between the two conditions are common.

When doing the test, I didn't feel like I was answering very many questions in a way that would suggest OCD. I'm curious to know whether how many people on the spectrum actually end up scoring in the "unlikely" range.

I got 36. Seems kind of severe because after I took the right medications I could control it.

I was diagnosed with severe low functioning OCD and other anxiety spectrum disorders and I use to frequently get sick purely from the physical side effects of it. It was horrible. I got used to trembling like I was going to explode.

HOWEVER, I wrote moderate control for my ability to limit them though because TODAY its gotten much better. I have a lot of control over my mind, just not enough energy or will power to go around, and last me for the day usually.

I'm not official diagnosised with OCD but I scored a 27 on the quiz. I have professionally diagnosed ADHD and dyslexia. I'm self diagnosed as a high functioning Autistic (Aspergers). I also believe I'm delevoping a tic disorder and/or tourettes.

I got a 9. Lol what?? :|

I don't have OCD. Yet how my autism manifests seems to appear in a way that land me a 'probable' score. So yesy, it could be that ASD screws results with OCD.

The closest I have are something to do with autistic tendencies of repetition, sensory seeking, and obsessions. Yet neither are disabling nor interferes with my functioning or whatsoever.
I have no concerns nor thoughts against the state of chaos, nor feel the urge to fix or correct things, and last I checked I'm no perfectionist. I also lost the vigilance and the 'need' for that.

Honestly, I sort of expected a lower score.

I didn't take the quiz, but have an official diagnosis. I was diagnosed with severe OCD. I have most of the subtypes.

"unnecessary re-reading or re-writing; re-opening envelopes before they are mailed?"

YES, YES, YES, god, how im a anoying with tmyself with that. I did that before every single mensage on facebook or any other social site, or wrong planet and in real life too. too much overthinking. Right now i have to send a letter to someone that could solve a lot of problems and im too worried about perfection of the letter or if i will hurt the other people feeling. i wish i could just send the letter. im holding for 15 days.

about the test

I get 29 on the test

"Based upon your responses to this screening measure, you are most likely suffering from an obsessive-compulsive disorder. You can view symptoms and treatment options for this disorder. This is not a diagnosis, or a recommendation
for treatment. However, it would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek a professional diagnosis from a trained mental health professional in your community immediately."

I took the test twice, once using a conservative estimate and once using a liberal estimate. With a conservative estimate, I got 29. With a liberal estimate, I got 35. I'm not diagnosed with OCD, but suspect I may have it. It was worse a few years ago.

Did it twice, got a 2 once and a 3 later on. Makes sense, as I don't think of myself as having OCD.

I got a score of 19. Not surprised at that.

Also, I took the short version of the autism quiz on that website and scored 24, landing me in the "Autism possible" section. (0-13 no symptoms, 14-30 possible, and 31 or more likely).

I got 14, I find that very hard to believe. I honestly thought I was going to get a really low score.

I don't have OCD, just very cautious with important things. I do tend to check things closely, but this isn't OCD. I have distinct reasons for my actions. Call it "common sense" or "lessons learned the hard way."

A score below 7 is no OCD. I think the reason why I scored so low on it is because I don't have the stereotypes the questions had listed or I was misdiagnosed with it and my behavior was mistaken for it. Everyone does the checking thing and stuff but it's not OCD if it doesn't cause you anxiety or distress or consume your life. Everyone gets intrusive thoughts and they are able to brush them out of their head. Worried about hitting pedestrians, that is why we watch the road to ensure we are a good driver and to be a safe driver. That's normal but it's not normal if it causes you distress on the road and anxiety.
