I want to open a fresh new account

I really want to open a new account here and start posting on the forum with a fresh slate. I tend to ramble or create drama, "woe is me", and end up rubbing people the wrong way. My own message post history feels like a kind of liability. I also want to know if there is a way I can still search for all my posts on this name for reference in the future. I don't think I have any more options even if I changed my username, which has been disabled.

What do the mods say?

No idea, but so do I. A stalker found me on WP because of some posts I made on the members only section.

You wouldn't be the first person to do it and you won't be the last.

Just don't have both accounts posting comments. That's definitely against the rules and is frankly a bit shady. If you change to a new account let that be your only account and allow yourself to start afresh.

Deleted a bunch of tenuously-related posts (and banned the user who was performing the harassment).

While we'd rather you didn't open a new account, if you don't cause trouble then there's not much reason for us to stop you.
