What's your favorite form of communication?

I hate talking on the phone, hate chat. I like email, and even talking face to face is better than the phone. Anything is better than the phone. I hate the phone. All those pauses and embarrassing silences. I have no idea if I'm supposed to talk or not, an what to say.

I'd much rather go with someone to the supermarket, just everyday things. Then you don't feel like you have to talk to fill the silence. You can just talk if you want to.

short, hastily sent, cryptic and easily misinterpreted emails in all lowercase. of course.

For a lot of things I like text messages, fb messenger, email etc. But for when I want/need to talk to someone in real time, or would prefer a much faster conversation, a good ol' phone call is Best. It sucks when a friend refuses to answer a phone call for w/e reason (depression/anxiety vs actually being busy, I'm pretty sure) and I'd like to get info from them Now vs. play 20 questions back and forth with text messages waiting random time intervals in between them. So, the answer is.. it depends.

Is there a “none” option?

Good friends? one-on-one, particularly doing something (game, meal, anything).

Anyone else: Email, text, in person, none, phone. In that order.

Nonverbal cues, echoing, dragging, pointing, and poking.

Seriously. It's what I'd do with little to no restraint -- meaning, only when my mom's around and at home.


Otherwise, I prefer written text. If that's not possible, then, casual one on one with little interference.

I like using things like Facebook messenger, Whatsapp, or regular texting.

Depends on my mood, really.

Most of the time, though, I like going on Internet forums such as WP, rather than converse in person with people.
