How can you sleep if your beds are burning?

How can we dance when our earth keeps turning, how do we sleep while our bed are burning?

Does anyone have the answer?

Ok I admit I just can't get over the midnight oil song, of this...its one of the greatest things I have heard.

I don't get it.
If your bed is burning you don't sleep - you call the firefighters.


And as for Earth - we can't feel it because gravity is stronger for us than the turning force. If you went really high up in the sky it would make more difference. Or something like that, I never studied it enough.

Well its an 80's song, by Midnight Oil I've just always loved it since I first heard it on the radio. I just sometimes feel the metaphor is relevant these days to. But yeah if you care enough the song is 'beds are burning' by midnight oil it is on youtube. Its not really about actual beds burning...its more about fears about nuclear war I am pretty sure.

But unfortunatly in California it seems many peoples beds are actually burning. and I send positive energies to those people...I am not a praying christian but from time to time I sit and meditate in an effort to send good vibes out into the world...so the people suffering due to the fires as well as animals it effects I send positive vibes that way. Unfortunately there is not much more I can do right now...so I can't really crtique the Christians who don't know what to do aside from praying. granted I pray to Freya the goddess of love, life and sexuality rather than gods of other beliefs.

The time has come to something something, to pay the rent...
