I've noticed a few times recently that some girls have been looking at me in a curious way in public places, like when walking past me or sitting facing me in a restaurant. Today, a girl at a Burger King even did the same few times when I happened to look her way. However, I have been unable to react to these situations and I have been the first to look away. Afterwards, I feel like I should have done something differently, like smiled or something. Do you have any advice for such situations to maybe turn them into something more?

I would be flattered if a girl looked at me. I’m usually the one doing the looking lol.

Finland is normally a pretty reserved place. Maybe you’re the tall, dark, and handsome type. Maybe you’ve lucked out.

Couldn't tell you. I feel disgust and utter contempt for those who make remarks about my looks when passing me on the street when they've never spoken to me before whether they are positive or negative comments.

Really? Man, I'd feel pretty flattered getting positive remarks about my looks. So long as they're not weird about it or anything.

I never noticed women looking at me but I have low vision & am in my own head too much to notice. I also don't look at women a lot cuz I don't want to be creepy. I got in trouble for staring alot as a kid even thou I really wasn't, I just happened to have my head turned at them even thou my eyes were looking at a different direction or I was zoned out & daydreaming.

I would feel uncomfortable because a feeling of dread would slowly develop within me.

I'm a woman and no one looks at me. I'm fat though, and probably look either grumpy or dumb most of the time. So I can be grateful that no one's trying to exhume me.

I'm sorry my response (above) wasn't helpful. I think I'm annoyed with being looked over all the time.

If someone looks at you, maybe you should smile.

I’m not attractive enough for women to actively look at me in the street.

If I was winked at by a woman, I’d be flattered.

Some guy I was hanging put with said “A lot of people look at you” but I’ve never noticed it. How do you act when anyone looks at you? I generally don’t like being looked at when out and about, would rather blend in. I’ve started wearing dark sunglasses and very uninteresting clothes.
