Aspie for a reason

In my life I have always believed that things happen for a reason. Don't start saying that I am a loony or anything but this what I'm saying and starting to think this
I must have AS for a reason. I mean alot of people have told me that I will go far in life and I want to believe them as it is encouraging. Now if I clear up my social skills and tidy them up a bit I should be alright.

Yes, if you work on social skills, that will help you a lot. There's no reason why someone with AS can't learn to deal with any problems they have and be alright.
Although I don't think I have AS for a reason any more than I have green eyes for a reason.

I think I have AS because of irregularities in my brain, and that happened because of a defect in my creation. But by no means did I get AS for a "reason" - however that doesn't mean someone with AS can't become accomplished and lead a succesful life.
