I was in the test more than 7 years ago and I don't have the exact results. The psychologist showed the results to me in percentiles instead of IQ numbers. I think it was verbal IQ: 98 or 99 percentile, and performance IQ: 95 percentile, so I think the difference would be within 10 points. I had most problems with picture completion. The psychologist was actually first person to ever suggest I might have asperger syndrome but it took more than 6 years more to finally have it diagnosed.

I wonder what I would score now, I feel like my mind is becoming more sluggish over time, and I have been mildly depressed for most of my life. And despite the high scores I am real failure at life.

At a guess as I don’t have any scores I would say my verbal would be poor. My maths is terrible. Vocal isn’t great. Comprehension is poor also.

Never knew my official IQ. However with online tests I usually score VIQ >50 PIQ.

My overall IQ is above average. :| For all I know, my PIQ is somewhere near or within gifted range, while my VIQ is below average or lower.
The gap would be at least 20 to 35 points between the two, with PIQ on the higher than average ranges and VIQ on the lower than average ranges.

My last assessment only gives age equivalence and interpretation of my 14 year-old self. :skull:

I had no idea there were different categories. When I've made IQ-tests I only received one number for answer. I don't think they're very accurate though, as the first one I took said 136 and the other 124. I also only got Aspergers as a diagnosis. No types or levels or anything. I guess the Danish psychiatry are just not very concerned about nuances.

This is interesting. I never knew about the different categories. I know that I was tested at 13 or 14 and my score was around 110 overall.

It appears that individuals with aucorigia (my term for ASD and similar conditions like NVLD or SCD) have much larger probability of having dysharmonic IQ profiles than general population. Both VIQ>>PIQ and PIQ>>VIQ may be associated with aucorigias.

In the poll there were 9 votes for now. 7 of them are for VIQ or PIQ at least 20 points higher than the another.

Verbal reasoning - 138
Perceptual reasoning - 121
Processing speed - 120
Working memory - 115

I think the results were probably lower than they ought to have been, though, because the woman conducting the test spoke with an accent I found difficult to understand; I know I got at least one question wrong on this basis which I would have got right had it been a written test. This was the WAIS IV, around two years ago.

On online IQ tests, I usually score around the late 130s and early 140s.

At my last IQ test a few months ago, my VIQ was 141, PIQ 102, total IQ 120.

Last time, it was VIQ 120, PIQ 104. Full Scale 114. About four years ago. Age 53.

At age 15: VIQ 150, PIQ 90. Full Scale 131.

The last time I was tested my overall IQ score was 144.

I didn't have the numbers broken down for me though. I recall being told that my processing speed was slow and that I had a visual-spatial disability.

On the sunny side, my verbal ability was in the 99th percentile.

Any psychologist who offers a FSIQ when there is a wide gap between VIQ and PIQ is an incompetent fraud.

I have no idea and I'm not interested in knowing either. People say I'm intelligent , I don't think so. It has no bearing on my life whatsoever
