We should all agree to march on a day carrying signs that read, "It's not us! It's you!" or "Stop judging and listen for God's sake!" or how about "You can't eat or drink or breathe money!" Any suggestions?

The second sign is the best. The first one is going to make people defensive. The third one is vague.

There should be an autistic reference somewhere.

I'm glad you connected with sign number two.

I'm not blunt; you're sensitive
Stop judging; start listening
Everyone is different
I'm not weird; I'm gifted

"AUTISTICS NEED ACCEPTANCE"

"AUTISTICS NEED UNDERSTANDING"

Who is the target audience of the demonstration?
Where would the march happen?
What is the change that you hope to see in the world as a result of the demonstration?
Who should participate? just autists or also others who support us?

Sorry to say, I was just kidding. So many of us are already hiding from the mess average people have made of this world. And the way many of them deal with people they don't (can't) understand is to presume them to be something they easily feel superior to and then to attack & demean. We are thinkers with broad perspectives. Many would not understand us no matter how adequate our ability to verbally explain our complex multi-dimensional view of reality. I just thought it would be fun to imagine what the signs would read. :)
Trying to convince a bunch of recluses and introverts to get together would be a challenge at best, but if you want to try I would certainly support your efforts as much as I can.

Oh, no worries, I didn't realize.

I'd have shown up to local participation of a demonstration probably... if it was peaceful and everything was done legally. I think it'd be a great way to meet people. Or maybe not lol... I am not sure really. But I would have considered it :)

It might be cool to do some sort of flash-mob-ish thing maybe on autism awareness day or something.
