Not sure this is the correct section, but we don't really have a food and drink section yet it is related to health since you have to eat and drink to live. So who likes tea weather its black tea, green tea, herbal and fruit 'teas'(technically infusions)? I certainly do...particularly I have always liked the Celestial Seasonings tea they seem to specialize in a lot of the herbal and fruit teas, but they have some green tea and black tea blends that are pretty good. I need caffeine in the morning because I am used to it but I find coffee can be too acidic( I still like it sometimes, but I don't like drinking it every day), energy drinks and sodas have sugar and other crap(used to drink a lot of them but I've cut down and typically seek out kinds with more natural ingredients but those are more expensive) so I like to keep a supply of tea.

Just bought a new one today called Spiced Expresso Chai, seems to be a new Celestial Seasonings flavor so yeah I've never tried it before and I am a little bit excited to but I am waiting till the morning. Other then that they have a good morning tea called Morning Thunder which is black tea mixed with yerba mate but I have gotten a little burnt out on that one so I've been wanting something new to try. I have tried various kinds aside from Celestial Seasonings, aside from that I tend to like imported tea from Europe and Asia...haven't really seen much imported from other regions, except Yerba Mate from South America. But I think Celestial Seasonings may be one of the best U.S brands also their factory is in Colorado and I've gone on a tour, they have a single room they keep all the mint in because if they put it with any of the other herbs it will make them smell and taste like mint to. However if you had a stuffy nose and went into that mint room, it just might cure it...it even burns your eyes.

I drink tea not for the enjoyment of it but for the therapeutic benefits. I usually have ginger, lemon and thyme tea to help with the gastroparesis that I struggle with. I put in 2 teabags and only a bit of water to submerge them then add some cold water when they are done steeping and drink it all at once.

I drink way more tea than coffee actually. I love all kinds of tea but black tea is my least favorite. It's really bitter and I'm trying to steer clear of excess calories that come with adding milk and sugar. Celestial Seasonings and Rishi are my favorite tea brands. My favorite Celestial Seasonings teas are Bengal Spice and Mint Magic. This thread inspired me to make a hot cup of herbal tea.

Rooibos is a good tea too especially if it's vanilla rooibos. :D

Rishi makes good matcha and jasmine green tea.

I will have normal tea in a mug. Milk, no sugar. Leave the teabag in. Two teabags if it's a pint mug.

I like tea. I don't need it every morning, but it is nice from time to time.

I cannot stand coffee. Both times I drank coffee I got sick, so tea for life!

Tea lover here. I have my own favourites, and always take some with me whenever I travel! I drink coffee too, but for me it has a specific purpose, to rev me up a bit in the morning or when I am especially tired and still have a lot to do, whereas I find tea far more relaxing.

Though both have caffeine, tea has less, (and green tea none at all) some teas have other components that have a calming effect.

I make my own iced peach tea using a brand of green tea/peach teabags and some peach juice, without added sugar (the commercial bottled iced teas are far too sweet for my taste palate, undrinkable for me).

For a while I was quite fond of the roibus tea, which has no caffeine and does have a very distinctive taste (it's a South African bush, a different genus from the standard black tea sources. Currently my favourite is a Kenyan blend, and I drink it every day with considerable pleasure :)

I'm not a real lover of tea.

But I do like Orange Pekoe somewhat.

I like the areas where tea is produced----like in the uplands of India.

I like tea the way my English stepdad used to make it - with milk and sugar. Although these days I use a sugar substitute like Stevia. It can't compare to real sugar though.

I also like lemon tea.

I like tea. Honestly I like it more than coffee at this point, although I've only been drinking coffee lately.
Loose leaf green or oolong with a little bit of honey and or a little squeeze from a Mandarin orange. Or chai made Indian style (actually drank chai with the PM of India once).
A few years ago I switched from coffee to tea for a while. After a month or so I had a cup of coffee early in the day and realized that drinking coffee makes me feel rushed all day. Like I'm late for something. Tea doesn't do that. I have to be in the right frame of mind for it though, and right now I'm not. So coffee it is for now.
I also like yerba mate quite a bit.

I love tea, despite my mom telling what teas I can and cannot consume.

“Spiced Expresso Chai”

Interesting, tea in Arabic is called Chai too.

I drink tea twice everyday; usually a common tea bag, but Turkish and Green teas are my favorite.

I'm English, so tea is life.

Assam tea is the standard, but Kenyan is pretty prevalent too. I'm not a fan of green tea, but can stand Oolong, which is half green. My preferred flavour is the [X] Caravan ones - Georgian, Russian, whatever. It's the lapsang leaf, but dried over pine fires, unlike every other leaf.

I've heard that whether a country refers to it as cha or chai depends on which route it came; English from India, or Portuguese from China, I think.

Kraftie - Pekoe is the rating system in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). I know a lot of tea is called Orange Pekoe, but that really means "standard quality Ceylon" tea. Most places don't make the distinction. Try, if you can find it, TGFOP Ceylon tea: it's one of the top rating for Sri Lankan tea. FTGFOP is the rating above it, sometimes known as Far Too Good For Ordinary People.
----EDIT: this is a little illustrative - http://www.curioustea.com/wp-content/up ... 10x410.png

Call me what you want, but I don't call it tea if it's not Camilla Sinensis - no lemon or mint tea, thank you very much.

I've had actual massala chai on a couple of occasions. It's a far step away from the traditional English brew. As is Pu Er. I prefer the non-fermented Yunnan tea.
