I like being touched by one person.
Generally, I enjoy touch when I'm stressed, from certain people, and when I'm choosing to touch them.
Otherwise, physical contact causes extreme anxiety and discomfort.
But, I've known one girl for a year, and have always felt warm when we hug.
Recently, we've started to hang out more. She really helps with my anxiety, and when we're together, everything else seems distant. I have had sensory issues, and during this, have just wrapped an arm around her shoulder or lightly tugged on the sleeve of her soft sweater, and it all seems better.
Today, when we gathered outside for the minutes of silence, she hugged me, and I felt no discomfort, for the first time. We watched a show in our school's theater and cuddled the whole time, my arm around her shoulder, head resting on hers. And, we held hands. Besides R-Rated contact, handholding is the most dreadful thing imaginable for me.
But, oddly, it seemed natural and calming to me.
Now, I don't want any contact from anyone else. I can't stop thinking of her.
I'm a female, and I know I'm not entirely straight, but have never been in love or have 'had feelings' for someone. Is this what's happening? And, has anyone else experienced this?
I'm the same way. I've met one girl in my whole life I trust this way & I think she's still figuring out how unique she is where I'm concerned.

I'm like this with my husband. I think because the only kind of touch I really like is being totally surrounded by the other person and being held tight, and he's the only person I want to be that close to.
