It seems like Aspergers is associated with an INTP or INTJ personality, and female Aspies in particular seem to usually be INTJs.

What's your personality type? Is it possible to be an extravert, sensor or feeler Aspie?

In a poll we did years ago, the most common type were I*T*.

I'm INTJ, but earlier i have evaluated to INTP. Use the search function to search for MBTI and you'll find what you are looking for.

For a long time, when I did those tests I got INTJ. The last few times I tried it, I got INTP.

I seemingly always test as INTJ-A, but with the Thinking/Judging differentiation being quite weak. Not sure what to make of that.

I've done the Myers-Briggs personality test twice - first time I got ISTJ, second time INFJ.

Guess I'm the exception to the "rule".

I was INTJ when I took the test in college, an extreme introvert. I think my designation would be slightly different now, but still in the "I" category. I can't imagine that I have fundamentally transformed into a strong extrovert, even though I do talk to people much more than I used to, mainly because I have more opportunities.

I'm INFP, which seems to be the most common feeling type for it. It actually does make sense, dom-Fi means not liking to express feelings and tertiary Si means having a liking to the past and routines.

I an INTP with quite strong tertiary Si therefore I have a lot in common with ISTJs and ISFJs.
I don't identify with INTJs. Their Ni is totally foreign to me and I am not a big fan of Te.

Makes sense (unless we're going by Socionics, in which INTPs have a strong Ni, which they just don't use much). I get along with ISTJs quite well due to their Si and Fi.

I think I am INT, and would get J when I was younger, but have drifted to the other letter over time.

INTJ that is weak on the J, and tends toward whatever the other letter is.

But will hafta look up my old tests to make sure I remember it right.

Could we move this over to an "alternate languages" section?

We are all talking about the Meyers Brigg personality test.

Everyone who has any truck with the psychiatric community, or the occupational/career counseling community takes it at least once. Pretty much everyone on this website. Many of us, like me, have taken it several times over our lifetimes.

The test classifies you by four dichotomies into a personality type. INTP and INTJ are both among the 16 personality types.
