I'd call myself a centrist.

I like to define myself as a "politically incorrect leftist". I agree with the left for the most part, but I disagree with SJW hypersensitivity. I don't agree with thought policing, I think that "safe spaces" are for losers, and I don't think that "words are violence" ... but I agree with the left on just about everything else.

My five favorite political people are Karl Marx, Bernie Sanders, Noam Chomsky, Socrates and Diogenes.

My political ideology is: I hate political ideologies.

When fighting under some banner, one is very unlikely to correct themself when wrong.

That is a accurate description for your world view.

We have had this thread very recently, Dylan. In fact, we had one on this topic earlier this month. Please check the board before starting another thread on the same subject.

He defines himself as a democratic socialist, but many people don't consider him a real socialist, since he doesn't want to put the means of production under popular control.

I suppose "true liberal" would be a better label for him. I'm using the phrase "true liberal" because Clinton (both of them) and Obama are fake liberals.

I'm not entirely sure.

Right-winged monarchist with reactionary tendencies and traditionalist influences.

I live in a country where we sometimes have no government at all. I like that.

I am a political moderate, moreso socially than economically. I am economically liberal and have some socially conservative viewpoints and moderate viewpoints. I consider myself a moderate and don't identify as liberal or conservative.

I'm a vegan anarchist. I think capitalism and the state need to be dismantled for the well being of society and our environment.

I think hate speech should be deplatformed by citizens. I think inviting bigots to campuses to debate random inexperienced undergrads is incredibly irresponsible.

I'm pro second amendment. I don't want the proletariat and other marginalized groups to get disarmed by the state.

I am a constitutionist and I believe interpreting the US Constitution the way our Founding Fathers would have. I am for the repeal of the 16th and 17th amendments. I believe that the taxation of one's income, estate, and gifts is unconstitutional and immoral. I propose using tariffs and excise taxes in lieu of the aforementioned methods of taxation. In regards to the 17th Amendment, I believe that we should get rid of the popular election of senators and allow state to appoint senators (each state house picks one senator) to the US Senate like the Founding Fathers originally intended. This would act as a hedge against special interests and also hold senators accountable to their state thereby strengthening states' rights. I am also in favor of repealing Baker v. Carr and Reynolds v. Sims. Since state constitutions tend to derive their models of governance from the US constitution, this would allow the upper house of state legislatures to be composed of one senator per county to ensure equal representation on the county level just like the US Senate is composed of two senators per state. Population would still be represented in the lower house of the state legislature just like the population is represented in the House of Representatives at the state level.

It's evolving. It's moving a bit Left on labor rights while also moving even further libertarian, in some areas, toward anarchy, especially when taking unconstitutional or even legal, but oppressive, orders from those in authority. And socially I'm conservative.

I generally feel like I'd fit into the Green Party. I did previously vote for Ralph Nader. I even voted for Jill Stein, but that was mostly a gesture to support the party and because I didn't like Hillary.

For a while, I was into Ron Paul mostly on Foreign Policy and backing off from the Drug War. Some his followers are weirding me out though sounding like semi-anarchists. I think Ron's fixation on the Gold Standard damaged his chances for no good reason. It's not like the Fed would be shutdown even if Ron Paul were president. I think for the most part the criticism of the Fed is they don't do a good enough job keeping ahead of Congress and Wall Street, so do the reforms there.

Ron Paul followers have also become fond of a blanket statement "All Taxation is Theft." which has kind of lost me. Why found a nation with a government without a means to pull in funding? I don't get it.

Last election I leaned Left again pulling for Bernie. Currently, I'm interested in Andrew Yang Democrat for President 2020 who is pushing for a UBI.
