Has anyone watched Love, Simon?

If so, have you found any of it relatable in a way that‘s not related to sexuality and the actual topic of the film?

Or any other thoughts on it?

The film is awesome, relate to it a lot as a bi guy and would’ve loved if they kept Cal bi like he was in the book.

I'm normally into sci fi movies (Bladerunner 2 was awesome), but my teenage daughter wanted to see it and I went along with her.
Actually really enjoyed it :D

I liked the true-to-life way that Simon was having such intense personal issues while being surrounded by nice, ordinary people. By not over-dramatising, it was more relatable.

And I think that, even though I'm completely heterosexual, I could recognise and empathise with his feelings of being different and worries about rejection from friends and family. I think that's something we with AS go through as well, to some extent.

Surprisingly, this might rate as the second best movie I've seen all year 8O
(but only because the superhero genre has completely lost its way  )
