If you played a long time ago, then now in MapleStory quite a few things have changed, and although I can say the main focus is improvement of your gear, bossing, etc. There are also other things you can do. But the game can get repetitive and not interesting, agree with that.
There are classes which can get tiring or exhausting to play, so I picked a simple class and that's more keeping the fun.
It's still a great game.
Oh yeah, it certainly is still a great game for sure, I just haven't been back around to playing it since earlier this year. I have pretty much played all Mage and Archer classes, especially the more recently added class Illium, which is a bad***. My main focus was the Legion system and the class abilities cause of how you can use them to power up your main. I read they were adding a new class pretty soon or may have added it already. Have they released it?
Yeah, new class is Ark, already released recently.
If you really enjoy the game, wouldn't you be playing it more? With all my other interests, job, and everything, I still find time to play the game. I don't look for excuses not to play or play less, like you might have.
The thing is I have other games to play, and life can be hectic sometimes. It might be excuses but, when a game takes too long to progress, it just feels like it is making me less interested to keep playing and find some other games to play. I have a pretty big list of games on steam which half of them I don't even play. That's why I stopped playing Maplestory for awhile cause it takes too long to progress further unless I pay, which won't happen at this time and I have other games to play. I will be back on it once I feel like it again. Who knows, maybe it might be sooner.
