Hya guys.

Just a wild thought, who's interested in doing a world-wide collab, like and internet band of sort? I'm a proficient keyboard player and I also produce in Cubase, so I guess I'd need drum bass and guitar (and maybe a singer unless we're doing an instrumental)... so, any jumpers?

I was thinking of either doing an 80s pop song (since currently I got an analog vintage synth and don't have a proper MIDI keyboard for pianos although I'm gonna buy a professional flagship keyboard in the near future anyways) or something 70s-80s Jazz - funk- fusion whatever whether with vocals or instrumental. Who's in it with me?

I don't have any drums, but I could do bass, guitar, or vocals if something really grabs me.

Well if any of u guys are serious musicians and would like to join me, we should definitely start a group chat within ourselves and think of what to do next. The way we build up a song is basically firstly the drummer plays over a beat (that is if he even needs one and also if the tempo during the song stays the same) then goes to record bass and lastly to guitar and then myself, that I do keyboard and mix/mastering all parts

Of course, you guys should all record your instruments either by several (if it's acoustic drums) or from a pickup/line output (if it's an electronic set or guitars, etc).

What do you think you'd want to play?

You could always whip up some electronic drums, even if it's just a temporary track. I personally prefer real drums, but even a lot of pro drummers these days just use triggers. I do really like the sound of the LinnDrum, though. It's got that fun, 80s dance pop sound.

If you've got any keyboard bits or demos, I could check them out and see if I have any ideas to contribute. Kind of a "jam session" kind of thing. We could set up a Google Drive or DropBox for it.
