Who here on Wrong Planet likes to listen to Berlin-School artists like Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, and Manuel Göttsching?

Out of all of these artists, I personally love Tangerine Dream. I have listened to most of their songs/albums, and they always have me hooked with their trance-like ambient atmosphere thanks to their drums/drum machines and soulful synthesizers.

All of these artists were pioneers in electronic music, and their legacy will always be remembered by the people who listened to their musical pieces, and by history itself.

I actually haven't given Zeit a listen yet, I'll probably do that later, because I just started school right now... xD

But aside from that I downloaded the Logos album on my phone yesterday, after listening to their live set they performed in *Mannheim (1982), and I am instantly hooked on it! :D

*Tangerine Dream Live @ Mannheim (1982)

I first heard Tangerine Dream when I saw the James Caan movie "Thief" back in the day. After that I sought them out.

Ah yes, the Thief album! I haven't seen the movie, but I have listened to a good amount of the album, and it's fantastic!

Btw, is the film any good? I plan on watching it someday when I have time.
