What are/were your favourite subjects or classes in school?

I've always loved science and history, but especially history this year. I took a college-level class on American history and our teacher went into so much depth. I learned so much about history that I hadn't even thought of before, especially about modern history (post WW2). I've also always liked science, though I've rarely been able to pass the tests.

Math used to be one of my favourites, but I got tired of having to teach myself. English just bothers me because no English teacher knows how to teach English the correct way. It's too fluffy and we always have to make stuff up about the pertinent subject, which I'm horrible at. Foreign languages are fun, but turning in homework that is just answering basic questions from a story (ugh!)...

I was just wondering if anyone else has the same or different subjects they like. Of if there's any pattern within the austism spectrum community and classes that we're good at.

I always liked my CAD and History classes best. English (esp advanced) was really fun as I like to write my analzations on what I read. But I did not like making storys too much (although I do like to make silly ones on WP, for whatever reason)

It's a wonder why this thread wasn't started earlier. My favorite subject is English, but my best subject is math.

I've always found anything related to computers to be a piece of cake, but I can really only enjoy English subjects, especially creative writing.

I can agree that the way they teach math and usually history at schools is boring, but I have been blessed with very good science teachers for the past few years in high school. One of my favourites was my chemistry teacher because he was willing to explain things to me after class if I didn't understand and he didn't think that I couldn't do what everyone else did. Methinks that one of the most important thing about a teacher is that they don't hold you back. :)[/code]

Art classes in high school and college were my favorites. I also loved choir class when we got to perform in front of everyone and took trips to competitions.

Art (deffinately), English (but more of the creative writing. I'm good at grammar and spelling and writing essays, it's just not as interesting), and Biology (although, I think I would have hated the class if I had any other teacher. My teacher was absolutely one of my favorite people on earth.)
