I was diagnosed with dyslexia & ADHD since kindergarten & I was supposed to receive accommodations with my skewl work but I really don't feel my teachers & principles cut me any slack at all for my behavioral issues. I was in trouble aLOT in elementary skewl & most of the time I didn't understand or know why I was in trouble. About half the time I was in trouble it was because of bullies picking fights with me or lying about me. Things got alot better 1ce I started going to a skewl for dyslexia in the middle of 6th grade. I went from being a major problem child to being one of the very best students currently in the skewl.
It's great you'll be graduating in June. Where I'm from skewl starts & ends early. Skewl starts at the early part of August & I graduated high-skewl at the beginning of May or end of April. We graduated about two weeks before skewl got out for everyone else.
Yeah. My teachers understand sometimes. When Im having a bad day or when Im excited I tend to behave badly. Its that my classmates get annoyed. They want to not be distracted.
I dont always mean to be disruptive.
Sometimes people dont want to work with me on group projects because I have an aide with me. Its apparently awkward for some people.
