On the other hand, if I'm ever desperate for money (and I mean REALLY desperate!) it is a way to make money. It's risky but profitable becase as they say "sex sells".

Well, if it's a critical situation like being losing benefits or being homeless without income, wouldn't you want to market your services to be an escort for both males and females. Females might not even require sex acts and just want to be seen with someone.

I guess I could use both male and female clients but I think men tend to actually pay for sex more than women do, even for male prostitutes. Even heterosexual male sex workers have to cater mostly to male clients.

There's a very sad story about Edith Piaf, the Sparrow of Paris. Her young child died and she had no money at the time for a proper funeral, so in desperation she hired her body out.
