Question for black aspies do you ever have more problems?

With people I mean and racism with extra prejudice for being disabled.

Yes, once when I was walking to a White friend's house, one of his White neighbors stopped me on the sidewalk and demanded to search my backpack to see if I was in possession any of the stuff that had been stolen from him recently. I let him, because I am disabled, but luckily he did not try to take anything. My friend later confirmed that there had been a Black man committing robberies in the neighborhood, but that I looked nothing like him.

Seriously? Does race even matter? An Aspie is an Aspie, be they black, white, red, blue, or polka-dotted.

Polka-dotted, that made me laugh. :lol:

In the UK prejudice of black people is practically illegal. If you show any sign of any sort of singling out a person with different colour skin, society deems you as racist. I do think it's gone a bit too far, but at the same time, I do think it's unfair to point the finger at black people.

Black Aspies, do you feel you have more problems with black NTs than white Aspies have with white NTs? The same amount? Maybe less?

I've always wondered. I think black American Aspies may actually have it a bit better among black NTs than white Aspies do with white NTs.

I would say, percentually speaking, I experience about the same amount of prejudice and ignorance from both Black and White/other NTs, as I do from white Aspies. That is, not much, but enough to be a consistent nuisance.
