I have a problem with watches of all kinds, smart or otherwise. I have a high amount of electricity in my body so I tend to short them out. I did that with three Fitbits a couple of years ago (in a row) and gave up.
I'm wearing a Garmin now that my mom gave me. I like it so far. It's not an obsession but it does make me conscious of being more active. It lags when it comes to calculating floors of stairs, and updating my heart rate. But my phone (Samsung) has a monitor on it for my heart rate, oxygen and stress level. So I use that for better accuracy.
Thanks! I’ve been through two Fitbits now myself. The batteries don’t seem to hold a charge for long. My iPhone has a health monitoring aspect but I’ve not paid much attention to it. I guess I should.
I have a very low heart rate and can never find my pulse, so thats why I like the tracker. Do you have to be carrying your phone for it to track your activity?
The Fitbit is not good on stairs either. I have to take them at least twice a day and they aren’t usually counted.
