Hi Wrongplanet.net I dont have many posts yet just wanted to vent Im happy I stood up for myself against a horrible landlord who has been giving more selective and inconsistent complaints and banging things to make me feel anxious. I have told them that I will record louder than normal banging and funnily enough the banging has stopped. Who would of guessed. While theyve given me notice I wouldn't have stayed another month and after a long line of cruel landlords happy to have stood up for myself.

Maybe the victory is not so Pyrrhic. The memory of successfully asserting yourself should long out-last your tenancy - greater confidence when you need to do this in the future is an incredibly valuable prize.
