About 4 years ago, I was working at UPS as an package handler and one of my co-workers was a gay man who approached me, and tried to convinced me I was gay. I said I wasn’t. The next day at work he told everyone that I approached him. Everyone believed him and thought I was gay. The gay coworker then bullied me for the next 6 months and it was a living nightmare from there and I left the job.

Has anyone ever had this kind of experience from gay men? I believe gay men target us bc we r vulnerable. I want to put a end to this BS.

I've been proposition in a gay club but I decline politely but the guy was very persistent and said I'd enjoy it , I think some gay men see straight men as a challenge especially if you're on there turf.

No. One time, I was in an elevator with a gay guy I was helping move house. My hands were full, and he handled my cigarette for me without a hint of undue familiarity.
However, if those guys are openly gay at work, what's the insult to you? A gay is teasing you for being gay??
I never give a hoot if people are confused. Long ago, an Army barracks would return from weekend leave, with a lot of loud bragging about getting laid. One guy noticed that a friend of his usually joined in, but quietly, and became convinced that he was about the only one not lying frequently. Eventually, he got the guy's secret. He'd get to the "good night kiss" stage or so, and then go shy. The girl would then get curious, and insecure about her looks. The guy would awkwardly "confess that he thought he was gay." The gals would all then do their very best to turn him straight, and love their success.

It would be impossible for that to be done to me. If they can somehow convince me feel anything at all I invite them to try. There's a large gap in my social consciousness where relationships should be.

That's terrible.

Its a form of sexual harassment.

Not sayin that gays are worse than straights, just that sexual harassment on the workplace is just that whether its from a straight like Bill Cosby, or from a gay like this coworker of yours.

You had no witnesses of course to the original incident when he cornered you in private. So you wouldn't have been able to do much about it I suppose. But in theory you could have complained about it through official channels.

Stop posting the same, "Has someone tried to convince you you are gay?" threads.

Locked.
