I have just recently been diagnosed to be on the spectrum as an adult.
I guess I always had some coordination and balance problems. Never did well in school sports (soccer, throwing balls, etc...). I did enjoy cycling my whole life. Tried to learn skiing and managed to be ok on green slopes, but I feel my “mind gets in the way”. Once I think too much I may loose coordination and crash. Way too scary and dangerous.
I discovered snowbiking as an adaptation to give me more ease of mind and to enjoy skiing rather than getting stressed and nervous.
Not all resorts allow snow bikes. That has limited my ability to enjoy the sport. I don’t view ASD as a disability, but if I say my bike is adaptive, resorts will have to allow it to comply with the ADA. What are people’s thoughts?

Star Wars "I have a bad feeling about this."

Laws don't prevent bicyclists from getting hurt when it is the other person's fault.
