Are there any songs that just annoy you when you hear them? I'm talking more about songs you hear a lot of the radio or in stores.

Here's a few I can't stand:-

"Finally" by CeCe somebody
I hate this because all I hear is a yell of "FINALLY!" and a long chorus of same-note words. I just don't like this song.

"2002" by Anne Marie
Uh, when she says the "oops I got..." bit, for a split second I always think she's about to sing the Brittany Spears song "oops I did it again". Maybe it doesn't sound like that to other people but it does me.

Any trending songs that you just can't stand?

Take Me To Church - Hozier. It was overplayed and some parts are too repetitive.

Big Girls Don’t Cry - Fergie. That was overplayed, too, and the voice gets annoying.

All of Me - John Legend. It’s overplayed, and I always thought it was annoying.

I immediately forgot every other song I ever loved to hate in my life the moment I first heard "My Humps"( my little lady humps). by The Black Eyed Peas

Alanis Morrisette did a U Tube spoof of it, by dressing up like a chanteuse and singing it as a slow ballad to make the lyrics sound even more ridiculous then they already do. Trouble is that they already sound off the charts ridiculous in the uptempo original that you cant even spoof it.

Most country music as of recent because IMO, it sounds a lot like pop or rock when compared to country music when it was actually good.

I agree. The song "Hey Brother" by Avicii (or however you spell it) comes to mind with this. It's like it's supposed to be country...but it isn't. I prefer real country music that gets you into that country mood, like "Cotton Eye Joe".

That's because "Disco Duck" is not just one of the best songs ever written, it was the 20th century's single most significant piece of musical media since "Thriller". Millennia from now, when our planet has been completely devastated and all life has been eradicated, alien archaeologists will find a sole copy of "The Best of Rick Dees" buried in the sediment and they will forever hail our species as the most advanced civilization in universal history.

Absolutely!

Actually there are some songs that are SO bad that theyre good. And Disco Duck is in that category.

The Nineties had at least three songs in that category: The Humpty Dance (digital underground), Barbie Girl (Aqua), and Rico Suave (Gerardo).

All electronic music, with its constant series of beeps-it gives me a headache. They play that annoying stuff between sets at tennis matches. I have to press the mute button until the players take to the court again.

All songs with cursing, sexual and violent themes

Virtually all country and western from the 1970s-one big soap opera

Most hip-hop as of recent because IMO, it's just about the same stuff; drugs, cars, money and/or sex.

I listen to lots of hip-hop and none of it is about that stuff. I could just as easily say that most rock and roll music is about sex, drugs and devil worship.

I know you said "most" and emphasized it as opinion, but it's still a generalization.
