Often I can't listen to certain types of beautiful music as it makes me cry.

I have just been in tears as I have just been listening to an early Cyndi Lauper song which she sang with such powerful feeling when she was with the band called Blue Angel.

Just to say that I can only watch them in link form. If I knew the song title I could look it up.

Thanks so much Isabella. I will look in a bit.

I have just found this one. Brought me to more emotional tears. Cyndi Laupers early songs again!

The pas de deux from The Nutcracker.

Also 'When She Loved Me' from Toy Story 2. I can't handle it. It was playing in a toy shop the other day and I had to leave.

To Where You Are, Josh Groban

This song was released right after my father died on Christmas Eve.
It was played at a memorial commemoration with videos from his life, with Christmas lights and a choir.

I just can't. :(

I have said this here before, but the album Made In Heaven by Queen makes me cry. It's so sad and beautiful.

Jesus To A Child by George Michael has sometimes made me cry.

Hugsxx. My dad also is in Heaven. He died late at night of the last day of a certain year.

Hugs back to you MG, and to everyone else who posted.

I couldn't stop crying for at least an hour after hearing the Groban song.
It's incredible how much music can stir our emotions and change the way we experience life.

What comes to mind are quite a few of those awesome 1970s soft-rock songs. For those who grew-up in the 1970s, in listening to these soft-rock classics, it might bring those "tears to our eyes" when feeling much disappointment over all of the junk these days!
