I'm a autistic woman in her 30s who hates PMS because I sometimes get bitchy and cry alot during when it happens. I would like to know what pills are out there (I live in Canada) that can help with PMS without bad hormonal side effects.

Hi!

I have PMDD (basically severe PMS) which has been getting worse over the past couple of years. I have tried two types of birth control pill but none of them suited me (one caused bad acne and the other did nothing), and I'm currently on antidepressants. It's too early to tell whether these suit me or not but apparently they're supposed to be effective.

I don't know what kind of pills are available in Canada specifically (I'm in the UK), but I'd definitely have a talk with your GP/doctor to see what they recommend you as there are quite a few different ones available. Best of luck!

The waters of the port were choppy. After I set off, there was a long, massive storm.
Years later, however, the sea calmed. I'm still on tranquil sea, but I'll never reach the Neurotypical Beach.

I have the exact reverse problem, if anything.

I don’t always know when my period is coming. Until I see the evidence in my pants, that is.

If only your body could give you some kind of a warning...
