I’m 49, I still get my periods. I thought women go into menopause around their late 40s?

I think it varies with individual people. Not all girls get their first period at the same time, either.

Last one was 6 months ago, I'm 51 now. Hopefully it's over! :D

Average age is 51 from what I heard. Not sure which race that data was for, probably white. Asian women have later menopause. 56 to 58 are not unusual.
