Pornography is to today's America what Vodka was to the Soviet Union.

They have pornography in countries that were formerly a part of the Soviet Union. I think pornography in America is probably like...pornography in Russia, except the delivery men in the videos speak Russian instead of English.

Not that I’ve watched much pornography, American or otherwise.

Vodka is not an addiction per se. More like national identity. I interpreted that to mean porn is not an addiction for Americans. It’s a defining characteristic.

Vodka isn't, but the alcoholism associated with consuming large quantities on a daily basis is.

Personally, I'd be curious to see stats regarding how different countries rank when it comes to how many GB per person per month.
