I had yet to be born when he took office. His economic theory sucked in the long run. His war on drugs has been pretty rough at best, but u gotta admit, it did work as far as reducing supply since then. He was a tough president, at least his words were tough. I did not witness his actions, but I did read about him breifly in collage, indeed, all i know is that he woulda been better then GW Bush. But Bill Clinton??

the internet seems to be so one sided when it comes to politics discussion don't you think?

I wish every community had a rule where your not supposed to talk about politics. especially the gaming ones.

He propped up Hussein and Noriega. He sold arms illegally to Iran while doing those two. He trained Bin Laden to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan.

Nothing else needs to be said, except I never thought there could any president worse until we stumbled on Dubya.

I think Reagon and Bush were equally bad. Reagon didn't take as much heat for his crap because he was more charming than GW Bush. GW has that annoying stupid frat boy / chimp look that makes you want to reach out and smack him whenever he talks. Both Nixon and Bush Senior were good presidents compared to those two, as was Clinton.

The thing about Reagan is that most people forget he was brain dead for half of his office time literally. He had alzheimers and was just a figure head the dictions were made by his cabinet.

I don't think people cared as much because he came off as a likeable guy. Bush Jr. doesn't come off as very likeable. He comes off as a dumb bully who pretends to have deep moral convictions but in reality is just having a power trip.
