Jury finds 42 year old Donovan Goparian guilty of the murder of Marie Martin, whose body was discovered inside a burning car in Worcester,Massachusetts. He faces a mandatory life in prison without parole.

Marie Martin was searching for a hitman to kill her ex-boyfriend during a custody battle over there daughter,a man she knew put her in touch with Goparian who agreed to kill her ex-boyfriend for $2,500,authorities said.

Goparian and Martin met on november 4th 2015 at Webster lake near Worcester before any formal deal was struck,Goparian shot Martin in the head and also strangled her.

Goparian then drove the car with Martin's lifeless body back to Worcester and lit the car on fire with Martin's body inside.

In the fall of 2015 it appeared that Martin's ex-boyfriend would be getting custody of there daughter and that's when Martin started looking for a hit man.Sometimes real life is stranger than fiction,no motive has ever been given as to why Goparian killed Martin and not her ex-boyfriend.

Apparently, she survived the head shot, or he strangled her, then shot her in the head.
And he stopped at Dairy Queen before he lit the car in fire,I would be surprised if this case doesn't make a true crime TV show.

Presumably she made the mistake of paying in full before the job was done!

Or she did something else in poor etiquette to leave the hitman thinking she was a cop or something.

Both suggestions could be possible motives for the ruthless double-cross.People usually pay some before some after when ordering a hit.

Or she may have seemed like a cop,who knows I can't think of better ideas.

Never hire someone to fulfill a contract without first checking them through the Better Business Bureau.

Also check they’ve completed their City & Guilds course, and kept their sole-traders insurance up to date.
