I’ve noticed with weight loss my hair is becoming straighter and more manageable. When I weighed 267 pounds it was curly and tangled easily. Has anyone experienced this? It may also have to do with hormones. I don’t know.

Around 6 or 7 years ago I had weight loss surgery and dropped 120 pounds. I believe that many people experience this effect after weight loss.

I wonder if it's the same with weight gain. I gained 30kgs in 2013 due to medication and I haven't been able to lose any.

My hair changed from red and curly to brown and slightly wavy. My family have accused me of dyeing my hair but honestly I haven't done a thing to it. There's still a red patch under the fall of my hair on the right side but that's all the red I have. It's very strange.

Now that I'm approaching my mid 40s, I'm wondering how I'll start going grey.

I started doing stuff to deal with stress, like "retail therapy" and more black hair started to grow in! At my age salt and pepper hair makes me look younger.
