Is it true that your height in cm - 100 is your perfect body weight?

for example i am 172cm so 172-100 = 72 kg.

so that would mean my ideal weight is 72 kg

No, I would have to gain more than 10 kg if that were true, which wouldn't look good on me. I would be chubby.

And if you're suffering from GHD and stand 98 cm tall, you should weight -2 kg.

Ideal weight is personal, height-100 or BMI or other weight-heigth relations can give you a rough idea for typically built adults but no weight-heigth relation is capable of accounting for body composition. 10 kg more muscle is something completely different from 10 kg more fat.

If you're a child under 39 inches tall then your "ideal weight" would be a negative number, and you would....float off into space!

So probably ...no.
