OOH, is that from "Hellbound: Hellraiser 2"? That's one of my all-time FAV movies.

BTW have you seen Clive lately? He's a wreck, poor man, all of the decadence caught up with him a la Dorian Gray :skull:

Yes, it is - one of my favorites, too (I'll avoid going into detail about my thoughts regarding it because then my post would take up an entire page all on its own  I fully admit that I'm completely obsessed with Hellraiser/the Cenobites (which is rather ironic). Happy to duscuss it, of course, but I need some kind of restraint or I just don't stop  )

Yeah, I know :(

It's a quote from Hellraiser, a remarkably weird movie

Technically, it's from the second movie Hellbound. The first Hellraiser is one of my favourite horror films. Hellbound is pretty good too.

Carcosa

Wait, there's actually a place named Carcosa?

Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.

—"Cassilda's Song" in The King in Yellow Act 1, Scene 2

OT, I'm the Swedish Smith-City, Eskilstuna.
